ZEISS REACH CFX is a portfolio of carbon fiber extensions engineered to meet the precision levels different CMMs require—keeping accuracy as high as possible.
How you benefit:
- Reliable results
- Higher productivity
- Suited to every measuring environment
- Three performance tiers for different requirements
ZEISS REACH CFX portfolio
Three precision tiers to match measurement requirements on your CMM.

Do not let stylus extensions compromise your CMM performance.

Carbon fiber probe extensions
ZEISS REACH CFX.
Stop giving away your machine's accuracy. To separate good parts from bad ones, you need trustworthy measurements—and that means minimizing measurement uncertainty. The wrong extensions directly raise overall uncertainty and cap what your CMM can achieve. Extension influence comes down to three factors: weight, thermal expansion, and static rigidity.
Low weight
ZEISS REACH CFX extensions use carbon fiber—an extremely light material. That supports more complex probe builds even under tight weight limits and cuts down stylus changeovers.
Stability
Thermal stability helps extensions hold length as temperatures shift. In the lab or on the shop floor, they stay steadier than aluminum or titanium options across many environments.
Static rigidity
Across the portfolio, static rigidity is high with practically no deflection versus titanium or aluminum—even at scanning speeds up to 12 mm/s. Faster scanning means higher throughput.
