Coordinate measuring machines deliver reliable accuracy when properly set up. Certified gauges support standard-compliant calibration, and measuring bodies help you re-establish zero right before each measurement. We supply both—with attentive support. Calibrations can also be requested as a service for all reference standards.

ZEISS calibration artifacts: standards-compliant

CMMs must be inspected periodically under quality standards such as ISO 9000–9004. Acceptance and reverification tests are detailed in ISO 10360. Test pieces with high-precision calibrated values, following VDI/VDE 2617 Part 5 and DIN EN ISO 10360 for CMMs, serve as references. VDA 5 and VDI/VDE 2617 Part 8 are also key for test-process suitability. Samples suit contour measuring machines per VDI/VDE 2629 for certain features; measurement uncertainty can follow ISO 15530. Baseline instrument alignment to the standard is scheduled annually and is also advisable whenever accuracy is in doubt—e.g., after temperature swings or mechanical damage.
